eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre

eBRAM is a not-for-profit arbitration and mediation institution that integrates Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) with LawTech solutions. Established in 2018 as a company limited by guarantee, eBRAM was founded with the support of The Law Society of Hong Kong, Asian Academy of International Law Ltd and Hong Kong Bar Association. eBRAM is committed to supporting enterprises particularly small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing a simpler and more efficient approach to managing legal risks and commercial disputes arising from cross-border transactions. Through the application of LawTech, eBRAM helps reduce the time and administrative burden traditionally associated with dispute resolution.

To address SMEs’ practical needs for proactive risk management and transaction security in cross-border dealings, eBRAM launched the Deal-Making Portal (DMP) in 2023. Powered by LawTech, the DMP assists enterprises at the early stage of transactions in identifying and verifying potential business partners, while incorporating contract arrangements and compliance mechanisms. This enables businesses to establish a clear and traceable transaction foundation from the outset, thereby reducing the risk of disputes arising in cross-border cooperation.

Where differences or disputes arise during the course of a transaction, the DMP allows users to seamlessly connect to eBRAM’s established ODR services, enabling the immediate commencement of online mediation or arbitration without the need to seek alternative channels. As one of the qualified arbitral institutions under the Arrangement Concerning Mutual Assistance in Court-ordered Interim Measures in Aid of Arbitral Proceedings by the Courts of the Mainland and of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the sole ODR service provider in Hong Kong under the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Collaborative Framework on Online Dispute Resolution, eBRAM offers enterprises dispute resolution solutions with strong institutional backing and international recognition. This end-to-end model — from deal-making to dispute resolution — provides SMEs with greater confidence and assurance in expanding their cross-border business activities.

Enterprises are welcome to register and use the DMP Deal-Making Portal. Free registration is available, and registered users may enjoy access to the DMP Professional Plan until 31 December 2026. vClinic users who wish to register for free and upgrade to the DMP Professional Plan (valid until 31 December 2026) are invited to contact us to obtain an exclusive promotional code. Through partner identification, contract and compliance support, and online dispute resolution services, enterprises can manage risks at an early stage and build a safer, more efficient and trusted foundation for cross-border cooperation.
